The first was a wireless B which dies almost immediately after a power failure and I took advantage of the latest technology at the time... Wireless G. Now in December 2006 when my wireless G router died (you guessed it...) I bought a wireless draft N 1.0 router that I had my eye on for months. This time, all of the cards needed changing too...
I have a powerbar. In fact, I am more vigilant than most and replace them every 3 years. I have power issues where I live. Other victims include a VCR, 2 power supplies (simultaneously!) and 1 motherboard with toasted BIOS. For some reason I have not learned my lesson as my wireless draft N 1.0 router has slowly but surely been giving me signs...
Today I caved... I bought a Linksys wireless draft N 2.0 350 router. It works great. Time will tell if it lasts more than 1 year...
