Rantings of an IT Pirate

As a pirate is passionate about the open sea, such is my passion about technology. I am the first "ethical" IT Pirate.

OWSUG IT PRO Community contributes by adding certified professionals to the marketplace

The Ottawa Windows Server User Group has been conducting a study group since Spring 2006.  We were directly or indirectly responsible for introducing the following number of certified IT professionals into the marketplace:

14 MCPs (70-290, 70-291, 70-293, 70-294, 70-270, 70-431)

2 MCSEs (2000 track and 2003 track)

4 MCSAs (200 track and 2003 track)

7 MCTSs (Vista configuration 70-620)

4 MCITP (Enterprise Support Technician 70-622)

4 MCTs

After the 70-622 session ends in 3 weeks, we adjurn for the summer when we will pick up and pursue the MCITP track for the server and enterprise administrator with Windows Server 2008.  This has been a tremendous benefit to IT PROs in the Ottawa Community.

Brad, 70-431 gives you a MCTS not an MCP. Also, don't forget MCTS on 640 and 642. You know, without the 291,294 groups, I wouldn't have had as good a chance on those exams. Having some 2003 background helped the me on the 2008 exams.
