Virtualization is here and now. With increased number of servers comes an even greater necessity for management. Hyper-V will be demonstrated along with its' benefits.
System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 will be used to manage VMs. The environment will be protected with DPM 2010 and monitored with SCOM 2007 R2 to showcase the value of the System Center suite of products as part of the New Efficiency.
Brad is a lead technical consultant and MCT certified trainer based in Ottawa, ON. 2-time recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for 2010 in the Virtual Machine domain and Management Infrastructure in 2009. He is also a member of the Windows Springboard Technical Expert Panel (STEP) for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 having delivered STEP presentations as an evangelist in Quebec City, QC and St-Johns, Newfoundland.
Islam Gomaa is a IT infrastructure manager at e-academy. He has over nine years of experience in IT in a Windows Server environment. Additionally, he has 5 years of experience deploying and implementing System Center Data Protection Manager in several sites. Islam is a member of the Ottawa Windows Server User Group executive committee and the Team Lead of the SharePoint study group,Windows 7 and SQL 2008
