It is happening with many of my colleagues. More and more of them are switching to a healthier lifestyle. Many of them are even competing.
Some examples I have are:
- Mitch Garvis (Mississauga Microsoft MVP) achieved his black belt in Taekwon Do
- Daniel Nerenberg (Montreal Microsoft MVP) completed the Montreal 10k http://www.sportstats.ca/find-an-athlete-find-a-race-search.php?lang=eng&first=DANIEL&last=NERENBERG
- Rodney Buike (Toronto Microsoft evangelist) has competed in the ride for cancer bike race in Toronto and is now working towards the Muskoka iron man.
- Brian Bourne (Toronto Microsoft MVP) has competed in the ride for cancer bike race in Toronto and continues to compete in that.
- Susan Ibach (Ottawa Microsoft MCT) has taken up martial arts and running (I am not sure if she has competed yet)
I can not help but follow this example and have started changing my habits as well. Will some competition be in the future? Anything is possible!
